Year 30: Having the Glitch in Life

I made it! I made it to 30 years without any major damage, yehey.
Kidding aside, being 30 is a bit worrying. Well if you're me, single and still don’t know what to do in life. I'm not unemployed, my salary though is enough to pay the bills, go out to travel, have some social life and save few hundreds to my bank account, LOL.

I'm worrying about the future (well who doesn’t right?) I'm single, with no interesting guy around, good enough to be the father of my kids. When I was in college I wish that I can get married at the age of 25-27, so before 30 I already have my first child, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. And now I am thinking I will be alone forever and becomes a Tita that will lavish my nephews and nieces with gifts and pasalubongs from the solo trips I made. *crying face*

On a lighter note, I think I'm not ready for it yet, you know the pregnancy and then give birth, talk about all the pain, the mood swings and, ugh!, the injections. And then the responsibility of a parent, I don’t think I can do what my Mom did before, a working Mom, I always think I don’t have time for myself now, what more if I have a kid. Because becoming a mother is a full time job without all the day offs and holidays. And sometimes the husband doesn’t pay you enough. XD

OK, it’s not really what I want right now. I have this to do list / priority list and having a family is like in number 6. I still have things to do, like learning to bake, how to drive, travel to Japan, looking for a higher paying job, watch all the concert of Arashi and ONE OK ROCK.

Generally I am happy, I really am, of course you can’t escape a few problems in work, in life as long as I'm healthy, I can go places every now and then and see the beauty the God has made, I can do climbing and feeling like a mountaineer with my hiking shoes. I can watch my favorite show on a lazy weekend. I still think I'm not that loser, with all those my age already building their family life, I'm here wondering what to watch next weekend, or what place I could scratch on my travel map. After all, as the saying goes, age is just a number. You doesn't need to be 30 or 50 just to get what you're dreaming of now.

P.S. GOD, please can you give Nino to me na? I'm willing to re-populate Japan, and I promise I’ll be a good wife and mother. As long as it’s Ninomiya Kazunari. LOL

Cape Santiago Lighthouse in Calatagan, Batangas : Small Trip

On a hot Saturday late in March, I was so bored and wanted to go for a ride. So I called three of my colleagues to come with me on a small joy ride trip in Batangas. (Actually it was an ocular visit for a resort for our annual company vacation and I’m the head organizer, naks!). Driving in an old red Toyota Revo, we started to hit the road from Alabang South Station.

I was expecting a heavy traffic in SLEX since its weekend and the start of a long holiday but in less than 1 hour we were feeling the breeze of cool air in Tagaytay. Told the driver to turn off the AC and rolled down the windows to save gas, hahaha.

I'm the one showing my peace sign at the back;
wait why am I at the back?
I'm the one who's in charge!
The road after we passed Tagaytay was so enthralling, well it was just a straight road and I exaggerated but when you live in Metro Manila, seeing this scenery is relaxing. I bet I have a lot of pictures of the road than my selfies, hahaha

We went first to Matabungkay to check resorts along the stretch of the beach. Still not contented, we drove more down south to Calatagan to check more resorts and seriously if you want to escape the bustling city, then cross out Matabungkay on your places-to-go list since the beach is getting a bit crowded on summer.

notice the welcome sign? the post is a lighthouse!

Driving for another 40minutes, we arrived at the town proper. We check two more resorts before we went to check our last on the list. On the way, I saw a rounded structure and knew that it was a lighthouse. Getting excited, we finished our last ocular visit in 15mins and went to the lighthouse. We almost got a bit lost since there is no proper landmark going to the lighthouse. The road going there was hidden with bushes and trees that we had to ask the locals the way. Only one car can fit the road and luckily there’s no car going back to block the way.

this is the last resort we checked but
didn't really paid attention on everything
the sand here is so white

There’s a person in charge in the lighthouse to assist visitors with no entrance fee, only donation. I was so excited going up the lighthouse that I forgot I have a fear of heights only realizing that when I reached the top and a gust of wind blew my face that I was shaking and only took two photos! Dang! At least I have enjoyed the view for a good 3 minutes before stepping down the spiral staircase.

There’s a wide space at the back overlooking the sea.

the problem with this sign to the lighthouse, it was placed at the other side of the road
so you really can't see this sign. or at least make a bigger one

The road going back... aww that was it? Bitin!

Before we went home, we made a stopover in Tagaytay for a late lunch and I was craving for Bulalo. We had our lunch at 4PM so we were so hungry that I forgot to take a picture.

My First Attempt to Write for a FanFic

Well this is my second but I left it hanging and never finish the first one. This is only the preview of the story. This was from a funny conversation with a friend then came up with this story.

Matsumoto Jun: The Seductive Emperor of Arashilandia

Fujiyama Yaney – 18 yrs old, beautiful, smart and came from a wealthy family of merchants. She admires the current Shogun because he had saved her and her troops from the ambush of the Toyotomi clan who tries to steal their precious stones, gems and other merchandise 3 years ago. Willing to enter Ooku to serve the Shogun. Never had she known that the fate has a better plan for her.

Matsumoto Jun – the first born son of the current emperor. Being the only son and next in line to the Throne, the emperor is keeping him within the confinements of the castle wall. But he still knows everything that happens outside the castle because Satoshi tells him about his travels and battles. Wanting to see the world outside, he insist on Satoshi to sneak him out with the conditions of disguising Jun as a commoner. Never will he know that he will meet the most beautiful lady in the whole empire.

Ohno Satoshi – the current Shogun, the youngest Shogun in the history. A good friend with Matsumoto Jun. The Shogun who needs to be married at the age of 25 and will choose a Lady in Waiting in Ooku. Not really interested in marriage, he just let the water flow. When he finally have the heart to choose will everything be too late?

A Gift in a Bottle

A few months ago, I sorted out my things since they were already piling up and so messy. Rummaging upon boxes and drawers I happened to found this necklace and said to myself “ah! Those were good memories and bad ones too. I have learned a lot from it.”

I'll give you  a short history, it might be boring but I will tell you anyway.

This necklace, I received this last April 26, 2008 as a birthday present from the person I truly love. I always wear this since then, treasuring it. Though I know this is some kind of cheap accessory, I still keep this because this is special. 5 years later, that person broke my heart. 5 years of love, friendship and trust was gone. But then I already got over it and moved on.

But then since I’m clearing out my space and sort things I don’t really need, this one has to go. Well I can’t give this to someone else, it’s not that gift worthy after all but I can’t throw this away. So a not so original idea pops in my mind. Put this in a bottle with a short message and let it float in the Pacific Ocean. (Sounds familiar? XD)

I hope I won't cause a pollution once I throw this in the water XD

I’m not being emotional doing this, honestly I am so excited. What will happen after this? Who will find this? Will it takes forever? Will this be found in other countries? In Hawaii? In Polynesia? In Chile? Will this might be eaten by a large whale, or caught by a fisherman? And if you’re happen  to be that person I THINK THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

P.S. on the message I wrote my blog site just in case he/she is interested to find me. >_<
