It’s Just a Small Help

My boss’s wife asks us if we want to volunteer to help to sort out all the clothes, toiletries, blankets, and canned goods her college friends collected and organized to be delivered to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in Coron, Panay, and Negros. Since the concentration of the relief is in Tacloban they decided to send those to other provinces.

The place we went to was in Xavierville Quezon City in Ms. Clarisse house, the one who organize the charity. We almost got lost since we can’t see the street names because it’s been blocked by Meralco post.  Good thing we had a car because I really don’t want to commute. When we arrived at 1:30PM her house is in full swing with the other volunteers. There’s lot of boxes, paper bags, sacks from donations. We have to sort everything out from; female adult top, female adult bottom, male adult top, male adult bottom, female/male top/bottom teens, female/male top/bottom pre-school, infant, undergarments (all new!) toiletries, blankets, pillows, slippers, shoes, medicine, toys, canned goods, biscuits, and noodles. Whew! It was so amazing how fast we worked on a lot of things in just two hours and at 5pm everything was already boxed, labeled and ready to go. Though there are some left to be pack since we ran out of balikbayan box and have to get a few more. So then we bid our goodbyes at around 5:30PM.

We also bring pot luck for meryenda; some breads, brownies, juice and soda. I love the brownies from Purple Oven. I also love the cassava from Alvarez it’s so soft! I’m happy volunteering but I’m so much happy to eat free food! LOL

We also have pot luck for the food, yay!

I was so tired and my back is in pain due to frequently bending forward but I know it’s just a small pain compared to the typhoon victims, they didn’t just lost their house and things, they also lost their wife, their husband, their kids, parents, relatives, friends. And in the smallest help I could possibly give, I just wish that this small help could bring at least a small smile on their face.

100th Day With Arashi

Well, I really didn’t plan to write something about this but I saw my friend’s write up (gaya gaya ako e. LOL) so I wanna do the same for MyLoves.

So this past 100 days I’ve been an Arashi fan, I’ve learn so much about them, I have met some Arashi fans that I can share the same stuffs and it really makes me happy. I wish that I could meet more and be friends with them. I’ll try to describe or say something about them from what I know.

My ichiban Nino, who caught me by a wink! Funny (or crazy) as it may sound but that’s the truth, if you have read my previous post about how I became a fan, you have an idea. He may be known as the Bratty member but I know deep inside that he really is a nice person. Loves his family, a caring and loving guy to his members and as Jun-kun says, he’s a very friendly person. He maybe lazy sometimes (well most of the time I think) but when it comes to work he make sure it has to be done smoothly and that’s what I love about him, a lazy bum, game console addict but with a lot of talents, some are self taught. I will forever love this forever-17-year-old guy.

I don’t have a niban, sanban, yonban, goban. Sometimes it’s Aiba-chan, Sho-chan, Ohno-kun, Jun-kun, I don’t know it depends, before I’m into Sho, then to Ohno, recently to Aiba, but today I'm into Jun (since today is his birthday!!)

Now let’s go to Sho-chan, Sakurai Sho. I like guys who are smart and good-looking as well. The Keio University graduate, Arashi’s rapper, newscaster, an air buff with sloping shoulders (like a pointed arrow) hahahahaha. He can make the conversations alive with witty remarks that’s why he’s the groups MC. He maybe labeled a snobbish with fans but I think that’s just normal especially if he’s in “private time” fans should have respect that. He’s the first born son of Government Official father and a University Professor mother, elite family right? What I love about Sho-chan is that he’s an elite bachelor but he can lose himself and be dorky. Will look ugly and stupid but doesn't really care. His toothy smile is like a chipmunk as they say, and his laugh is so contagious that you won’t laugh at the joke but to his laugh.

Aiba Masaki, the tallest of them all, the Miracle Boy. They say he’s the neutral one when it comes to work. Jun and Sho being the perfectionist and Ohno and Nino being lazy and wants to go home to do their hobbies. While Aiba lighting up the working environment Aiba: Eh, working? We’re not working, we’re having fun! The Sunshine boy who loves his members so much that he makes them enjoy their work, for Jun and Sho to take it all easy and for Ohno and Nino to make them stay longer. He’s so dedicated to Arashi that even he’s sick he wants to stay and perform with them. He invented all those silly games for their show. If I have a chance I want to play his games in Aibaland. That would be so much fun!

Jun-kun, Matsumoto Jun, MatsuJun, the Prince, the Emperor, Mr Perfect, the brain of their concerts, the awesome guy who invented their moving stage. The guy popularly known as Sawada Shin and Domyouji Tsukasa. The first Japanese who covers for Marie Claire magazine. He’s so passionate and dedicated to his work that sometimes he hires professionals to teach him and finish his work perfectly. Most of their fans are Jun-bait because of his roles in Gokusen and Hana Yori Dango. He has a distinctive face that he doesn’t look Japanese. He’s so good-looking at whatever he does, being dorky, paint all over his face, unsold mannequin, curly hair, popcorn man. I think Jun-kun loves mascots because when he saw one, he plays with them enthusiastically. He’s a 30-year old grown man with a kid at heart.

Lastly, Ohno-kun, Oh-chan, Riida, Sato-chan, Sato-pi, Ohno Satoshi, their Leader. He’s not the type of leader who literally leads. For him it’s just a title. He maybe the quiet leader but when he speaks everyone listen.  He gained the title Leader thru Janken (rock, paper, scissor) with Sho-chan but I believed that it’s his fate. He is also the lead vocalist and lead choreographer of Arashi. He’s the man with so many hobbies, usually with regards to arts, he draw, he paints, he’s a sculptor, and he’s a fisherman. Lately, for his love in fishes he incorporate it with his dance moves, outfit, and he fishes fans at concerts.

There are no exact words on what I feel about them. But I know one thing is for sure, I am so happy watching them, I'm in love with all the members and I won’t get tired of them. Whatever they do I will support them with all my heart, I promise that!

PS: they are all in their 30's now. I know, they doesn't look like their age.

Bad Dream

BAD DREAM!!!

Well I really don’t consider it as bad one, though of all people why him? I was so sure I'm thinking about Nino last night. And some says that whoever/ whatever you’re thinking before you went to sleep, possibly that it will come to your dreams. So why him?

Ok if you are asking who it is, well it’s my ex-bf, funny that I am blogging about this. My dream is about work so I’m not going to tell the whole details. It is just sooo weird it has to be him. Honestly I’m not thinking about him. Was so occupied with Arashi now especially MyLoves Ninomiya Kazunari LOL!

Anyway I’m not really minding it. And I’m sure Nino will come to my dreams tonight. Say this 1000x and it will come true! Bwahahahahahahaha!

Post Break Up: Things Every Girl Should Do

It’s been a year since my break up with my last boyfriend (and yes im blogging about this! LOL) and there are sooo many things that happened in that span of one year. Of course there is the crying and confrontation and hoping to fix things up on earlier break-up days. And I am grateful that I have a lot of friends who helped me to stand up, my colleagues  who always makes me laugh and told me to ignore them. But things are never really that easy, moving on is never as easy as 1-2-3, there is a process, well for me I think,

  1. First, you have to accept the fact that it’s over. The guy you think you will spend the rest of your life with is not thinking the way you do. You may talk about the future but it is merely a talk. Face the reality, you just can’t cry and cry in front of him asking him to go back. Don’t text him to remember all your special moments together because believe me, he remember all of that. He just chooses to ignore it and leave.
  1. Don’t grudge it over Twitter of Facebook. I know you want to tell the whole world how that jerk breaks your heart but after that what happened next? You just gain some critic on how bitter you are. Remember you also have some common friends including the relatives that could read your post and might hurt them. And that’s my mistake, my brain is so messed up that I told the whole story over social networking sites. And that make us go to No. 3…
  1. Have a makeover. For us girls it is one thing we have to do after the break up and it really helps a lot. It’s a start for being a the new YOU, have a hair cut, pamper yourself on spa, upgrade your closet if you have to, enroll in the gym. Having a new you will give you some perspective and a clear mind on what you should do next.
  1. Find new activities. Your usual routine when you were together will make you reminisce on the past. If you can’t resign on your work, since it is also a part of that routine, at least try to do new things. Go to some art class; enroll in Zumba class or Yoga. Be a fan girl and do fangirling stuffs. Go fishing or something, meet new people, new friends, don’t just curl up in your bed on weekends. Do something productive, it will help you realize on things.
  1. Don’t be a Denial Queen. Admit it if it still hurts, cry if you have to. As I’ve said the pain won’t be gone in a few days. It’s better to cry than being bitter about it.

Time heals all things, it may take weeks, months, years or even decades. But the pain you feel today will not be the same pain you will feel tomorrow. Its OK to think about the past but always move forward.

Authors note: the list is just about personal experiences, it may not be as effective with everyone, at least it is effective for me. And the funny side is, he got his karma in less than a year. I'm not really celebrating that part, it just tells us that everything you do to other people, good or bad, will have an equally good or bad payoffs. And the test if you really are OK, when you see your Ex and you’re heart beat is still the same and didn't feel anything, I think you’re doing great! Ganbaremasu!

In Love

Im inlove with the person named Kazunari Ninomiya, some might know him, a member of Arashi, one of the most popular band from Japan. An Idol who already debuted in Clint Eastwood’s movie Letters from Iwo Jima. A song writer, a TV and Radio host, an actor, a magician, a brat (LOL). He also play the piano and the guitar. A talented 30 year old guy who looked like 17 (does he already found the Fountain of Youth?)

There are no words on how to express what I feel now but he really makes my day. He’s my stress reliever, a puzzle piece to complete my day and my inspiration to continue studying my Nihongo.

Oh how I wish he doesn't  get married first before I do. :)

Busy With Life

It’s been a while since my last post. I've been so much busy with my Birthday Celebrations, yes with an “S” with Family Friends and Office mates  Also had some “ME” time pampering myself, I have finally dyed my hair Mahogany Red,  my first one, a brownish red that can be seen when it hits by light. It was so KAWAII!! (like a Japanese school girl). Went to our company outing in Laiya, the beach is so white! And for the first time I finished running one lap of the track field in Marikina Sports Complex! When I started to run last year, I was like 2 meter-run but I breathe like a Dog, It’s like an achievement! I already finished 2 books this month, a frustrating yet hard-to-put-down-and-read-next-day story of Cecilia Ahern’s Where Rainbow Ends. And a classical My Fair Lady type story of Bridie Clark’s Overnight Socialite. Also I’m getting this whole new environment thing. Meeting new people, seeing new things, doing a new routine that’s making me so busy 8-hours a day. Yes I may not have a perfect life, no Gazillion in my bank account, have crazy friends, a short temper, a weird body type, sometimes mean and sometimes a bitch. But this makes me who I am today and I’m not pushing myself to please everyone. Because in the end it’s not about WHEN you finished but HOW you finished. So go on and live, you don’t know how much time left.

Higad You - The Perks of Being a Girl

Higad or Caterpillars are the larval form of members of the order Lepidoptera (the insect order comprising butterflies and moths). They are mostly herbivorous in food habit, although some species are insectivorous. Caterpillars are voracious feeders and many of them are considered to be pests in agriculture. Many moth species are better known in their caterpillar stages because of the damage they cause to fruits and other agricultural produce. Caterpillar hair can be a cause of human health problems. Skin rashes are the most common, but there have been fatalities. Source Wikipedia

Although considered as an insect, Higad has a Philippine connotation of being flirty. Its attribution of itchy feel once it contacts with human skin. Makati (itchy) this is what they called to girls who flirt with guys who already have a wife or girlfriend. “bawal na pag-ibig” (forbidden love) nobody knows what their relationship is, just a trusted friend or two. And unfortunately these so called friends tolerate them in their wrong doings. So unlucky, can’t find a true love and friend.

Just like the caterpillar, these girls are like pests in the fields, eating all the good crops so farmers can’t benefit on what they have planted. They plant it, they water the crops, they put fertilizers but these pests are immune. Just like these wh*res, they just don’t care on anything. They know that the guys they’re flirting with have a girlfriend or have a wife and kids! All they want was to get laid. I just can’t understand them, why they have to ruin someone else’s relationship where they can have one for themselves?

And you guys, why make patol??
