Higad You - The Perks of Being a Girl

Higad or Caterpillars are the larval form of members of the order Lepidoptera (the insect order comprising butterflies and moths). They are mostly herbivorous in food habit, although some species are insectivorous. Caterpillars are voracious feeders and many of them are considered to be pests in agriculture. Many moth species are better known in their caterpillar stages because of the damage they cause to fruits and other agricultural produce. Caterpillar hair can be a cause of human health problems. Although considered as an insect, Higad has a Philippine connotation of being flirty. Its attribution of itchy feel once it contacts with human skin. Makati (itchy) this is what they called to girls who flirt with guys who already have a wife or girlfriend. “bawal na pag-ibig” (forbidden love) nobody knows what their relationship is, just a trusted friend or two. And unfortunately these so called friends tolerate them in their wrong doings. So unlucky, can’t find a true love and friend.

Just like the caterpillar, these girls are like pests in the fields, eating all the good crops so farmers can’t benefit on what they have planted. They plant it, they water the crops, they put fertilizers but these pests are immune. Just like these wh*res, they just don’t care on anything. They know that the guys they’re flirting with have a girlfriend or have a wife and kids! All they want was to get laid. I just can’t understand them, why they have to ruin someone else’s relationship where they can have one for themselves?

Workplace - Your Second Home

This is the place where every striving employee work their asses out to have a fruitful outcome, where he make sure that every details or procedure is carefully and excruciatingly followed to have a profitable results. These causes the employee a sleepless night, stressful day, shortened break time, and neglected social life. Just for them to meet any deadlines and a happy 15^th and 30^th day, yes, only 2 days of the month, the payment for your slavery (OK that’s too much!).

So most of the companies nowadays make their work place comfortable and a stress free environment, a spacious table/cubicle, a lounging area, a fridge full or Cobra (energy drink), sometimes there’s also a gym and a pool. These companies believed that if their employees are working blissfully, it will reflect on the outcome. Creating a much more profitable, commercially advanced product that they, the boss, will be 100 times richer than they are now. As some Chinese Businessman said, “Pag masaya empleyado, masaya negosyo!” (if employees where happy, the business is happy). This Chinese Proverb has been applied and believed that they've created a second home for their workers.

But there are more companies who just don’t care and whip their slave to make them richer.

Milk Tea At Bon Appetea

Before the long walk for the alay lakad, my friend Leng was starving and was craving for a milk tea. Well of course it was Maundy Thursday and most of the stores were closed even malls. So we think that she can't have a sip on her favorite drink that night. I am teasing her to just buy the instant milk tea at the convenience store because I know she doesn't like the bitterness of instant. Walking along Marcos Highway we saw a Gasoline station and voila! Bon Appetea on the back corner of the Gas Station. We had our turn and made our way to the store, there was a few costumers, maybe walkers also LOL!

This is my first try at the store, and i felt excited cause customers can write and post about anything!

While we are waiting for our drinks, we write and read some of the posts, and sure this love post won't pass on the haters eyes.

 Its just 3 minutes when our drinks arrived, maybe even if it takes a while, we wont get bored waiting.

Our drinks, the small one is mine. I don't want to be called by nature on the way.

All in all, it just another Milk Tea store, it doesn't taste bad but its not that kind I want go back everyday. Giving with its location on a Gas Station and no school nor Jeepney stop in the area. I suggest they seek for a Marketing Consultant :)
